Version 1.2 has arrived with a new hero and new dungeon!

You're thirsty. So thirsty. Why did you come here? So thirsty... You open a potion bottle to drink it, but it evaporates before your eyes. You must press on, despite the flames. You tread carefully, but somehow your clothes are burning. The terrible Hellhound awaits, eager to consume your very heroism with its fiery maw. Best of luck, adventurer…

One, three, and a five. Oopsies, look, you're no longer alive.
More anarchic than Mages, and more chaotic than Alchemists, Witches hail from the fiery volcanic city of Inanidec. Their strongest magic users earn the full title of Witch only after completing a deadly ritual known as "The Burning". Syvir left Inanidec after completing her ascension and is ready to put her red-hot skills to the test. Her tactical balance makes her a jack of all trades, having studied equally in hand-to-hand combat and high level magic.
She seeks power and knowledge from the vaults of The Guild, although her reasoning is unknown. Flagged in The Council's files for a lack of empathy, Syvir does whatever is necessary to win, especially if it means striking an enemy when they're already down. Her teamwork leaves much to be desired; she'll mock her own partners for any show of weakness.
If you are a Treasure Chest backer, we beg your patience once again. As with the launch of Fanatic and Caliana, there is a switch that needs to be flipped by Valve to add them to the Treasure Chest. In anticipation, and with the hopes of avoiding a delay like last time, we requested this switch flipping several days ago but we still haven’t heard back. We’re hoping that someone at Valve will flip the switch soon, but being a holiday in the US, it may take until tomorrow. We apologize for the delay, but we are working on it!
However, once the switch is flipped, it couldn’t be simpler. Launch your Steam client and the game should automatically update to version 1.2. The next time you play One Deck Dungeon, you’ll have 1 new hero to add to your party and 1 new dungeon to delve!
For everyone else, each new card is just $1 (USD). On iOS and Android, you can buy them via In App Purchase, and on Steam you can find the Witch here and the Cinder Plains here.

Caliana Asmadi
Caliana Asmadi has decided that dungeoneering looks fun! As a faerie, she’s not so much bound by the normal human hero laws of “health” and “gravity.” If she’d take damage for any reason, she gets bored and leaves the dungeon instead!
Healing potions and items that give additional health have no effect on Caliana, but she can use other skills that prevent damage such as Dodge.

Tens of thousands of children die every day worldwide; when 6 year old Helena was hit by a city bus in the streets of Lima, she should have been one of them. She was in fact pronounced dead on the operating table, but suddenly sprang back to life exactly three minutes later. She spoke adamantly of visions of heaven and claimed that God had sent her back for a purpose beyond her understanding.
Years later, she stumbled upon an ancient cache of Templar arms and armor. With a determination bordering on fanaticism, she trained herself in the use of it. After a year of solitary prayer, It was time for her to fulfill her purpose: to purge the world of evil.
In some realities of the Multiverse, Fanatic joined the costumed Sentinels of the world and became a Prime Warden. In this disparate reality, she seeks out and destroys evil within the darkest dungeons!
How can you get them?
If you are a Treasure Chest backer, it usually couldn't be simpler! Launch your Steam client and the game should automatically update to version 1.1. The next time you play One Deck Dungeon, you’d have 2 new heroes to take into the dungeons.
Unfortunately, right now there is an issue with the Steam backend that is preventing us from adding the 2 new heroes to the Treasure Chest. We have already contacted Valve to get the issue fixed but as the Steam Summer Sale just launched (see below) they appear to have their hands full. We'll post a comment on this update as soon as the issue is resolved, and we thank you in advance for your patience on this hiccup.
EDIT: Just heard from Valve and this should now be resolved!

While we were at the show, John, David, Jean-Marc, and Jennifer were continuing to work on the Treasure Chest content coming soon to One Deck Dungeon. If you're a fan of the tabletop game, you've likely seen Caliana, and maybe even the Witch, but tonight on Sentinels Live, we're going to be giving you the very first look at the stretch goal crossover character Fanatic! Her mechanics are unlike anything you've seen in One Deck Dungeon before and we think you're really going to like what Chris has come up with. She's a One Deck Dungeon hero, but still decidedly Sentinels flavored.
Treasure Box Keys Steam Keys Now Available

If you backed at a level that included the Treasure Chest, or you added it on in BackerKit, we're pleased to let you know that, despite some delays, your Steam Key is now available on your BackerKit dashboard.
As a reminder, the Treasure Chest will eventually include the Phoenix's Den, Fanatic, the Witch, the Hellhound, Caliana, and the Soundtrack. When you redeem your Steam key, you will immediately receive the Phoenix's Den. The other 4 bonus cards and music will become available to you as they are added in the coming weeks and months.
Thanks for your patience, and don't forget, the mobile tablet launch of One Deck Dungeon is scheduled for tomorrow, May 23rd on iTunes and Google Play!
