Dev Stream Today
There are just 2 days left in the campaign, and we're still hard at work building the game. In 1 hour (1 pm Eastern), join Jean-Marc and John for another developer live stream. You’ve seen Jean-Marc developing the game engine, and you’ve seen John creating the UI. Today you get to see how those come together! Visit our Twitch Channel to watch or subscribe.
Fanatic
Sentinels fans know all about Fanatic, but if you’re not familiar with her story, who is this latest hero to brave the dungeon?
At age 6, Helena was hit by a bus in the streets of Lima, Peru. By all rights, she should not have survived the trip to the hospital. It was even more miraculous when, after being declared dead for exactly 3 minutes, she sat up, speaking of heavenly visions and a divine mission. With no known family or memories from before the accident, Helena was placed under the care of a local convent at her request. Puberty brought an unusual change for her: giant, feathery wings sprang forth from her back. When she dramatically revealed them during mass, she was driven from the convent. Taking refuge in the catacombs under Lima, she stumbled upon an ancient reliquary. It was here that she donned the armor of a Templar, taking up her sword “Absolution” to launch her holy crusade to purge the world of evil.
As a stretch goal for our previous Kickstarter, our composer Jean-Marc is creating theme songs for the Sentinels of the Multiverse. We thought you might like to hear the current work in progress version of Fanatic’s theme!
No glooping ooze can stop her!

Last Social Goal Revealed Going Into the Final Week - Plus Mobile Update!
– Mon, Nov 27, 2017 at 11:30:47 PM
We’re just 4 days away from the end of the campaign and there are stretch goals within reach! You already know about the Phoenix’s Den, Caliana Asmadi, Fanatic from Sentinels of the Multiverse and the newest Hero, the Witch. Some time over the long Thanksgiving weekend, we also crossed 1000 social shares so it’s time to reveal the last mystery stretch goal:
Stare into its eye. No, not that one. Not that one either.
Say hello to the Hellhound, master of the Smoldering Tunnels. This stretch goal is slotted in at $45k. Now we know what you are thinking: “That’s nearly twice our current pledge total, with only 4 days left! How can we possibly get to that goal?” We agree it’s a lofty goal, but not insurmountable with your help! Tell your friends and spread the word far and wide!
As an added incentive, we wanted to talk about the Treasure Chest, included in the $15 and higher pledge levels as a Steam Key. Right now, the treasure chest is a $5 value as it includes the soundtrack worth $5. We have not yet unlocked any stretch goals to increase its contents, although the first stretch goal is right around the corner at $25k. The point of these stretch goals is to raise enough money to pre-fund these new heroes and dungeons. However, given that we now know that we will be releasing for tablets, we fully expect it will sell well enough to justify creating these cards eventually, even if we have to wait until after the 1.0 release to do so.
Backing at a level which includes the Treasure Chest now means you will get all 5 of these cards for free whenever they are finally released. As we plan to sell these cards for $1 each once they are released, your $5 Treasure Chest will get you $10 worth of content!
$5 gets you $10!
Mobile Backer Count
As we head into the final week, we also thought you’d like to know how things are going on the mobile side. We’re happy to report that as of this writing, there are a total of 356 mobile backers (either at the mobile level or via add-ons). For every backer, we’ve promised to knock 1 hour off the 1 month wait time for One Deck Dungeon on Tablets. Since there are 720 hours in a month, you’re basically halfway there! One Deck Dungeon for tablets is now coming out just 2 weeks after it ships on Steam!
Still need another reason to become a mobile backer? How about a special mobile wallpaper pack just for you! After funding closes, and we’ve sent out backer surveys, you’ll get an exclusive mobile wallpaper pack delivered via BackerKit. Remember, if you are already a backer, just add $1 to your pledge to become a mobile backer!
Thanks for all your support so far, let’s keep pushing these last few days and get some of those stretch goals unlocked!
